The Omaha-based, NetShops Inc. which operates more than 200
retail websites has rebranded under a new
company name, Hayneedle.
The changes include new technology to better guide customers such as a new navigation system
and global checkout cart work across all Hayneedle stores.
In an Omaha World-Hearld article Hayneedle CEO Carter Cast said, “Hayneedle is an evolution of what NetShops was, based on what
consumers told us.” NetShops was basically a holding
company with a collection of stores...Hayneedle is a consumer brand
that connects all of these stores.” (Via OWH)
I am assuming the redesign was done in-house. The logo reminds me a lot of the first rendition of the recent Kraft Foods logo redesign (below).
