The Bosselman Companies and the Nebraska Danger Indoor Professional Football Team seek a Multimedia Designer to join our Marketing Team. This position is responsible for the creation, development and maintenance of moderately complex marketing and multimedia communications including websites, digital and print graphics, social media, and video. This position is located at our Grand Island, Nebraska Corporate Headquarters and reports to the Director of Corporate Marketing.
Key responsibilities include:
- • Create, design, and provide content for websites, digital, print, and video
- Assist with providing content for, overseeing and monitoring all social media sites
- Oversee company-wide texting program, on hold audio, and online shopping site
- Oversee company email lists and oversee/create promotional email newsletters
- Serve as team videographer/video production for the Nebraska Danger
- Recommend techniques and treatments which support the visual, look, feel and appeal of design concepts for the appropriate web graphic deliverables.
- Create and manipulate web graphics to optimize load times, speed, navigation, structure and web page layout while adhering to web style guides and aid in defining new styles as needed.
- Ensure integrity of original concept/design and company branding is carried through within color palette, typography, photography, etc. across all media
- Select appropriate production media and materials.
- Recommend, develop and present design concepts for a variety of media and marketing.
- Collaborate with Director of Marketing and Graphic Designer; assist with department production needs, and marketing/promotional needs.
- Stay abreast of industry standards related to the design field, remain current on multiple media and presentation techniques and recommend appropriate methods and medium to convey the desired effect.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Degree in Multimedia, Graphic Design, Art, or related discipline preferred.
- Relevant recent experience directly related to listed key responsibilities.
- Strong understanding and knowledge of design and design principles across all media.
- Ability to conceptualize ideas and execute visuals using various software.
- Ability to interpret communication needs, and establish each individual project's communication objective in order to provide meaningful and purposeful visuals.
- Ability to provide accurate project timelines and estimates and demonstration of superior project management/organizational skills.
- Participate in project collaboration efforts to ensure feedback is properly implemented through applying exceptional listening/communication skills.
- Strong problem solving skills, the ability to be resourceful, and the ability to adapt to any technology constraints that arise.
- Familiarity with working within corporate branding standards, as well as ability to offer independent art direction when needed.
- Proficiency in PC environment with intermediate to advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite including but not limited to Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Premiere and/or FinalCut Studio, After Effects, Flash, QuarkXPress, Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP, and MySQL helpful.
- Beginner to intermediate level of proficiency with video production and photography.
- Experience in managing social media.
- Marketing experience within the retail or sports/entertainment industry, and a strong understanding and interest in football a plus.
- Creativity, time management and organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to multitask, prioritize and work efficiently, and ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude.
- Exemplary communication skills, both verbally and in writing; excellent proofreading skills and strong copywriting skills; ability to communicate and interact with all levels of business professionals.
- Ability to work with little or no supervision and ability to take and follow directions.
- Must be dependable, reliable, responsible, and self-motivated.
- Ability to acquire and maintain a current driver's license, as job-related travel may be required.
- Normal working hours are 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday, plus coverage at home Danger football games with watch over away games. Availability to work at special events or extra hours as needed or to complete projects and meet deadlines on some weekends, evenings, and holidays may be required.
