SCORR Picks Up Marketing and Design Awards

SCORR was awarded a Gold and a Bronze AIGA Nebraska Award. The gold award was for pro-bono “Secrets of The World” book release event invitation for the Kearny-based movie theater The World Theatre while the bronze was for SCORR Marketing’s Lost Sock Memorial Day self-promotion campaign, a part of SCORR’s “obscure holiday card series” that featured a greeting card and custom screen-printed tube socks. At the International Davey Awards SCORR won three silver awards. The three silvers were for the Body Medica website, the Chief Agri/Industrial “Bin Looking” direct mail and the PharmaNet advertisement series work. READ MORE

Henry Doorly Zoo Choose Bailey Lauerman

In a review of its marketing duties which include many local and a couple regional agencies, Bailey Lauerman was chosen by Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo as the zoo's brand agency of record. Keep on out for new HDZ work popping up around town.

Phenomblue Nominated for iMedia's Agency Awards 2011

Recent Snitily Carr Account Wins

Partnership for a Healthy Lincoln
Partnership for a Healthy Lincoln (PHL) selected Snitily Carr as its partner in promoting healthy lifestyles in the community. PHL is a collaboration of many organizations and individuals working together to improve the health and well-being of Lincoln citizens. The organization’s primary goal is to reduce the percentage of obese children in the community to less than 15 percent by 2015.

HatsanUSA, Inc.
HatsanUSA, Inc., a world leader in high-powered air rifles, chose Snitily Carr to help launch its line of premium air rifles in the United States. The parent company, based in Turkey, plans to enter the U.S. market in the fall of 2011. Snitily Carr will develop a brand messaging, packaging design, and a website. Public relations and advertising campaigns are also being developed to introduce Hatsan to shooting enthusiasts in the United States.

Floyd Valley Hospital
Floyd Valley Hospital of LeMars, Iowa, selected Snitily Carr as its agency of record. The hospital is working with Snitily Carr to conduct market research, develop a strategic marketing plan, and launch a full-scale marketing campaign. The initial plan will include key strategic recommendations for targeting, branding, message development, public relations, and media. Snitily Carr will assist with the implementation of a number of marketing communications and public relations initiatives.

 

Recent Bailey Lauerman Accounts Wins

Bailey, along with several other local agencies, have had a string of new business wins that I have either recent came across or was made aware of so I am playing catch up and lumping the wins into one post for each agecy. First off is Bailey Lauerman.

CommunityAmerica Credit Union
After an extensive review process, Bailey Lauerman, was named the agency of record for CommunityAmerica. Community America is one of the nation's largest credit unions and is headquartered in Kansas City, MO.

Abrazo Healthcare
Bailey Lauerman emerged as winner in a national search for a partner to brand the provider's network of hospitals which includes Abrazo's Arrowhead, Paradise Valley, Phoenix Baptist Hospital and Arizona Heart Hospital and Phoenix Heart Institute, two recent acquisitions of parent company Vanguard. BL will provide consumer insight, creative strategy and execution, and digital services to the Phoenix, Ariz.-based company. BL will lead development of the first-ever women's health services campaign for Abrazo's Women's Center at Phoenix Baptist Hospital. The new Center has been created exclusively for women and features specialized staff and technology.

Cessna Aircraft Company
Bailey has expanded it client list in the aviation category with the inclusion of the jet business from Witchia, KS-based, Cessna Aircraft Company. The Cessna account most recently was with Sullivan Higdon & Sink of Wichita/Kansas City/Washington D.C. Bailey will focus on Cessna's Citation line of business jet aircraft and will provide customer insight, creative strategy and execution, and digital services.

Phenomblue Introducing I Smell Brains App

Phenomblue rolled out an internal R&D experiment, a reskin of the Zombie Christmas mobile app, called I Smell Brains. The app was created using Adobe's latest tools, Flash Builder 4.5 and Flash Professional CS5.5, and which allowed for a cross-platform application. The project undertaking was done in one week, Phenomblue wanted to demostrate how they can create a variety of effective experinces for potential clients. The mobile app is available for free for iPhone, Andriod and Blackery. Additionally, I Smell Brains, was chosen as FWA Mobile of the Day recognition for Nov. 2, 2011. 

 

Clark Creative Group Updates Website

Clark has redesigned their agency website along with adding more recent work such as Members.MD, Thermal Services and HearthStone Homes. It looks like Clark has been successful working for Cox Omaha that Cox corporate has given them some additional work for Cox San Diego.

Thought District Teams with Madonna

Congrats to the TD on the new business win of Lincoln's Madonna Rehabilitiion Hospital. Here is a blurb from the Thought District news page:

SecretPenguin Launches Social Gift Card Website

SecretPenguin has launched a new website for client Flagship Restaurant Group to help customers tell their friends and family what they want for the holidays this year. The microsite allows users to post a goofy message (or one of their own) to Facebook, Twitter or Email. From those shared links, friends can purchase them a gift card, or request one of their own. The microsite launches with the start of Flagship Restaurant Group’s annual online gift card sale, which begins November 1. VISIT SITE
