Johnson Outdoors, has chosen Swanson Russell to lead marketing efforts in Europe and the United States for its acquired Geonav brand of marine electronics. Geonav is an Italian-based company which was acquired in 2007 by Johnson Outdoors. Geonav products include navigation and marine electronics equipment which are designed for the saltwater yachting, sailing and boating markets.
Swanson Russell works on marketing efforts for other Johnson Outdoors companies likes Minn Kota, Humminbird and Cannon brands. According to The Outdoor Wire, the Geonav campaign will include a rebranding along with print and electronic creative capabilities, public relations, e-mail marketing and website development. The campaign will initially launch in Europe and then later in the states. (Outdoor Wire)
