Here is a new segment that gets you inside the agencies of Nebraska. Our inaugural interior...Oxide Design. Oxide just moved down the street from their old dwelling to this great open space that was originally a hardware store (I know this because the old neon sign still hangs over the the space). When asked the reason for the moved, owner Drew Davies replied, "We moved to the new space for a variety of reasons. First, it’s way
more space: more than double what we had before. Secondly, the new
space is a lot more inline with Oxide’s core ideals of clarity and
efficiency. Lastly, we got tired of dealing with the old landlord." The space looks great Drew. I hope you can bring that hardware sign to it former glory too. Click here to see the photo gallery.
Any idea how they painted the huge 'x circle' logo? Did they mask w/ computer cut vinyl? or project on the wall then trace & paint? I'm curious...

Andy,
The logo is actually painted in latex paints on the wall. Done by a brilliant Omaha company called Room For Improvement. We built scale art in Illustrator, then they meticulously hand-measured it onto the wall, masked it off, and painted it all. Looks as good close-up as it does far away.

I was wondering the same thing. I was thinking it might have been vinyl. That's cool.
The place looks good Drew!

The t-shirt printing is just for fun (not profit).
