Works with Account Manager to organize and facilitate client objectives as they relate to web and other digital experiences. Oversees and manages the architecture and implementation of each interactive project to assure that they are seamlessly implemented within an approved timeframe and budget.

Responsibilities

• Digital Know-How: Understands how data is displayed and utilized from a database,  
  and knows digital layout basics, including the possibilities and restrictions within modern code (HTML5, CSS, etc…).
• Manages Relationships: Provide the attention and expertise existing clients expect  
  in an effort to achieve client satisfaction and retention
• Oversee Projects: Outlines and manages online campaigns and projects through their development, production and implementation
• Client-Focused: Provide strategic direction for assigned accounts, including site-mapping
• Accountable for Budgets: Work with internal team to estimate time needed based on goals,  
  project requirements and needed resources
• Coordinates Assets: Request discovery material from clients and organize assets required  
  for the design and programming needed to implement the project
• Ensures Collaboration: Works with the Creative and Development team to assign specific  
  tasks and deadlines
• Basic Coding Ability: Able and willing to execute basic code revisions and updates without  
  needing to use external resources
• Growth-Seeking: Comfortable in identifying and directing new interactive business development,  
  as well as effectively present those ideas to DAAKE clients
• Success-Driven: Aggressively pursue new ways to contribute to the overall profitability  
  of the agency and our clients

Qualifications

• A minimum of 4+ years of interactive project management experience, preferably from  
• a traditional advertising agency setting
• Comprehensive knowledge of interactive/internet communications projects
• Proven track record of successfully developing projects from strategy to implementation
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and delegate assets
• Proven knowledge and experience with HTML and CSS
• A bachelor’s degree

Qualifications

• Advanced skills on Mac in the following software applications: InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Keynote
• Understanding of web typography, grids, and basic HTML/XHTML
• Welcome and seek out feedback and recommendations from a variety of sources
• Proficient in: the printing process, photography, illustration and typography
• Experience communicating with external vendors, including printers, photographers, etc.

DAAKE Creates Buffet Cancer Center Brand

DAAKE created the new brand identity for the Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center which recently had ground-breaking cermony. 

The color brandmark features two “C's” for cancer center that arranged to form a “B” for the Buffett family and a “3” for the center's three focus areas: research, treatment and education.

The logo’s colors are bright red and dark red for the center's two medical partners, the University of Nebraska Medical Center and The Nebraska Medical Center; pink and blue for cancers in men and women; and green for life and health.

The brand will be used online and on all of the center’s communication tools, and will be placed on the building when it is completed in 2016.

Our Summer Internship is a two month training program designed to prepare individuals for part-time online advertising production work. The position is part-time (16-24 hrs/wk) and pays $15/hr.
